Why is a contractors license important to YOU? It protects YOU if an unlicensed person/persons cause damage to your house, your insurance company may not cover the repair costs if they can prove that the individual that made the repairs was unlicensed. If the person/persons were not licensed you can be sure they are also not properly insured. This means should damages or injuries occur, you the customer will be left with the liability. A "Contractors license" and a "Business license" are two "VERY DIFFERENT" licenses!
Why is a surety bond important to YOU? It protects YOU in case the contractor or service provider doesn't do a proper job or walks off the job. You can draw against the $10,000.00 surety bond to get the job corrected and/or finished.
